One of the most powerful ways to educate is to interact, and there is nowhere as interactive as the Australian Shark and Ray Centres Shark Feeding Excursion.
This school activity is sensational once they are in the tank they will be shown how to respond to the animals. A range of education packages are free to teachers.
The kids just need to bring a change of shorts and a t-shirt to get wet in, and they will get a quick induction and off they go. One of the most fun and exciting experiences the children will ever undertake. And for the grand finale they will have the thrill of their lives and hand feed the huge rays and feed a tank full of sharks in the shark feeding!!

Seniors
There is no age limit as to who can walk, swim or just watch our shark feeding. If you can walk down three stairs you can go in with them. This is a must do for seniors groups, as they would never have partaken in an activity like this before. We have plenty of waterproof waders so the groups can get in the water without even getting wet for the shark feeding. All tanks are above ground making it easier for seniors to experience the shark and ray feeding.
You are only as young as the shark you are feeding!
Includes free cup of tea and coffee plus some biccies!
